Stefan Frauscher knows a thing or two about electric boats. The company he now runs built its first floating EV in 1955. Still, Frauscher says the latest effort is a complete game changer.

It’s known as the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air and, as the car brand plonked in the middle of that rather long handle might suggest, there’s more than a little automotive technology involved. Indeed, this stylish open speedster shares its battery pack, motor and other technology with Porsche’s new Macan electric SUV.
